Cuba's domestic legal framework enacted in 2019 covering a wide range of crimes related to information and communication technologies. Establishes provisions for ICT security, cybercrime offences, and protection of computer networks and systems. Cuba is not a signatory to the Budapest Convention and has developed its own independent legal framework. The law addresses computer fraud, illegal access, data interference, system interference, and unauthorised interception. Enforcement agencies operate under the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Communications.
